I am originally from Mexico City. By formation, I am a Graphic Designer. I specialised in Marketing and Media Consumption. I have worked as Art & Design Director for ZF Trading (Mexico) and have been involved with numerous television projects in the US and Mexico. This provided me with a commercial and artistic understanding of different industries. During this time I also worked as a visual communication consultant for several projects for the National Institute of Archaeology in Mexico (INAH), working with several researchers and museums.
I have been living in the United Kingdom since 2006. Now working in the academic sector, I have been teaching Design, working as a consultant and doing research. After receiving an MA in Interactive Production, I enrolled in the Web Science research group at the University of Southampton where I received an MSc in Web Science and now I am doing my PhD focusing on Tangible Interaction and Learning for Cultural Heritage on the Web.
