Barbara Flagg's consulting group, Multimedia Research, specializes in front-end, formative and summative evaluations of educational products and curricula. Clients include museums, media and software producers. Museum evaluation projects include smartphone apps, websites, exhibits, demos, forums, giant screen films, planetarium shows, and outreach materials. In a prior career, as a faculty member of Harvard University's Graduate School of Education, she taught for ten years about design and evaluation of educational technologies. Her doctoral degree was received from Harvard University in Human Development, and her academic research explored how children attend to and learn from media.
