I am the Director of Ideum, a New Mexico-based company that develops custom exhibits, multitouch software and hardware products. Over the last thirteen years, Ideum has worked on over 100 projects with top museums and cultural institutions across North America. I am also the Principal Investigator of Open Exhibits (www.openexhibits.org) an NSF-sponsored software initiative. Before founding Ideum, I was the Director of Interactive Media at the Exploratorium in San Francisco. I taught for the Technology-Enhanced Communication for Cultural Heritage (TEC-CH) program at the University of Lugano, Switzerland and I current teach for the Cultural Resources Management program at the University of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
